About Us

SMART Center is a quality-driven, non-profit civic organization that works on improving human and institutional capacities to promote youth engagement and peacebuilding.

Mission

To promote citizenship among individuals and society by spreading a culture of dialogue and debate, fostering tolerance, and actively involving youth in building peace.

Vision

Lebanese youth with a strong sense of citizenship, where individuals are empowered to contribute positively to community development and civic peace.

Our Objectives

Promote Dialogue and Tolerance

  • Raise awareness of democratic and human principles by spreading a culture of debate, dialogue, tolerance, and respect for differing opinions.

Youth Development

  • Train and develop the skills of young people in debates and dialogue, preparing them to participate in competitions as debaters, organizers, or judges.

Network Building

  • Build relationships and facilitate exchange of expertise, experiences, information, and resources among members.

Community Impact

  • Implement programs and projects that improve youth opportunities in education and employment and raise awareness of rights and societal issues.

Partnership and Collaboration

  • Enhance cooperation with NGOs focused on youth, children, human, and women's rights, as well as universities, schools, and public/private institutions.
